You should definitely go on a trip to Poike, which is on the eastern side of the island. There's the place with open-mouthed statues (you should first ask the farmer to let you cross his land). Another curiosity is the red earth. To the NE there's a cave where the virgin was kept before marrying the vistor of ceremonies (in the birdman cult). Ask directions from the locals.
