You can do some skiing on Cerro Mirador in the Reserva Nacional Magallanes, just 9 km of town. You can use the lifts there or rent equipment if you didn't bring one. There's lodging with food and drink. There are buses there leaving at 9 and 2pm from the Hotel Coba de Hornos or taxis (but it's more expensive, around $7).
