I have obtained a useful free booklet of Santiago, called Historical Heritage of Santiago: A Guide for Tourists, written in English - there is a version written in Spanish as well - from the Municipal Tourist Board. Its set in Casa Colorada, located at Merced 860, for other details you might call the desk at 336700/330723.
