Temuco, Cerro Nielol

Posted 1 year ago by avatar jimmy in response to avatar cynohn's question: Is there a place in Temuco from where I can get on overall view of the town? (give a different answer) .

So that you can see the whole town you have to go up the Cerro Nielol which is also a park with native plants among which you can see the chilean national flower: the 'copihue rojo' and the tree ('La Patagua') under which the peace with the Mapuches was signed in the 19th century. You'll have to pay $1 at the entrance. Inside you'll also find a restaurant and a bathing pool (which costs extra).
