Yes, there are a lot buses run by various companies going to the capital. They leave from the terminal which is on Av Valparaiso y Quilpue. If you plan to travel on Sundays you should book a seat in advance, because they tend to be full. I don't know the exact hours when they leave. You should also go to the train station, because some buses often stop there to pick up passengers.
